Spiral Chute Overview
A spiral chute is a gravity separation device that uses water and gravitational forces to separate minerals based on their weight, producing heavy, medium, and light products. The spiral concentrator is constructed with fiberglass lined with wear-resistant polyurethane and corundum, offering resistance to corrosion, rust, and wear. It's ideal for mining and ore processing, especially in placer mining environments like seashores, riverbanks, sandbanks, and stream banks. This equipment features low water consumption, a small footprint, high concentration and recovery rates, and strong adaptability.

Application of Spiral Chutes
This equipment is suitable for metal and non-metal ores where there is a significant density difference, such as iron, chromite, pyrite, tin, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, gold, coal, monazite, rutile, and zircon. It can handle various feed sizes, densities, grades, and volumes. Spiral chutes are effective for processing 0.6–0.03 mm ores and placers, although high mud content may affect the separation process. They are widely used in the treatment of iron ore, tungsten, tin, niobium-tantalum ores, coastal and riverside placers, and gold ores.

Working Principle of Spiral Chutes

1) Install the spiral chute, adjust the vertical line, and secure it in place using timber.
2) Feed the ore slurry into the two feeding openings at the top of the spiral chute using a sand pump, and add water to adjust the slurry consistency.
3) The slurry flows down automatically and rotates from the top. Ore and sand are separated under the influence of rotational steam and centrifugal force based on differences in specific gravity, particle size, and shape.
4) The final ore is directed to the ore hopper and transported via pipe, while the final sand goes to the sand hopper and is conveyed to the sand pond. After this, remove the sand pump, completing the entire concentration process.
